A daring design from the mind of Alexandre Joncas and made in Canada, its natural silhouette is inspired by the mountainous landscape near the studio that reflects off a nearby body of water. The fixture uses a series of small aluminum holders and a single feed to suspend a flat cable exclusive to the design in an angular, though adjustable orientation. Illumination is provided by a small but strong integrated LED set within a shade of hand-blown glass, with the lamping itself easily repositioned to either light the ceiling with a stylish reflection or pointed downwards for a brighter, even, ambiance.
Launched in 2016, darmes creates minimalist, modern designs with a sustainable edge. Greener tech, like LED and neon light sources, combined with elevated materials like bronze, glass and stone ensure each fixture is durable, beautiful and energy-efficient.
